Every plant is carefully selected, ensuring your space is not only beautiful but also manageable. When you step outside, you’ll feel confident in your garden’s design, knowing it was created just for you.
At Lanier Landscapes, we create inviting, thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that feel like a natural extension of your home. We take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences to craft a landscape that’s both stunning and practical.
Finding the balance between a beautifully designed landscape and an overgrown backyard can feel challenging, but that’s where we come in.
From the first consultation to the final planting, we work closely with you, ensuring thoughtful planning and expert craftsmanship every step of the way.
We personally hand-select every tree and plant curating for longevity, health, and seasonal interest because we value our commitment to quality and want your landscape to last.
No two properties or homeowners are the same. We take time to understand you, your style, your space, and your vision to create a landscape that feels uniquely yours.
With experience designing gardens for friends and a deep passion for thoughtful, intentional landscapes, I set out to create outdoor spaces that truly reflect the people who want to enjoy them.
Nature has always been a part of my life. As a child, I spent countless hours in the garden alongside my mother, learning the rhythm of the seasons and the joy of nurturing a living space. Now, living in Chevy Chase with my husband, three children, and our dogs, Gigi and Monty, I continue to find inspiration in the beauty of nature. I founded Lanier Landscapes in 2013 after noticing how many outdoor spaces felt impersonal — beautiful but lacking warmth, or functional but uninspired.
With a thoughtful approach to design, we shape outdoor spaces that seamlessly blend beauty with functionality. Every detail is carefully considered to complement your lifestyle, resulting in a landscape that feels timeless, livable, and effortlessly in tune with the way you want to enjoy your surroundings.
Your space should feel like a natural extension of your home — inviting, effortless, and uniquely yours. It should be a reflection of how you live, unwind, and connect. Yet, too often, landscapes feel disconnected, underutilized, or difficult to maintain, leaving their full potential unrealized.
